A metaphor: Digital thinking done physically. The rise of digital culture is inseparable from the outstanding progress in the interfaces between the physical and the digital world. Interfaces that have become more personal, more individual. How is this individuality expressed in physical space? How can this individuality be interpreted in continuity with this space instead of being distinct from it? In such a context, the clear-cut border between real and virtual is loosing its pertinence. It has, instead, been replaced with the notion of augmented reality, which postulates the hybridization of both worlds.
