A prototype concept bar model that was entirely designed at a generative modeling tool. Wooden strips of 6mm thickness synthesize the form (soft system). The curvature of each wooden strip and the overall form is shaped by a separate system of wooden components that perform as structural arches receiving and distributing the loads and tensions of the construction. The assembly took place in the carpenter’s workshop within 48 hours and transferred as one piece on site.
