The fluid continuous motion, accompanied by the thoughtful switching and alternating between light and shadows, does not leave any conceptual gaps in this performance. The combination of the sense of time and space is what makes this project so special and appealing to any audience.
As cubism tried to introduce to the canvas the meaning of time and the concept of the moment in a time period, so did the Disconnect Project by using a white elastic membrane as a canvas and the dancer-performers as boundaries for its dimensions, who immerse us to the facts and the memories of them, that their movements create. By every single movement of their bodies, the coordinates of the given space are changing dynamically, leading every time to a different shape which could be a part of alternative living sculptures.
The Disconnect Project unites and simultaneously removes us from the flat surface of the ground, and redefines the causality between time and space as well as with the existence itself and even if in physics, space-time is independent from the viewer, at this project visitors can be very easy a part of it.
